My photography work spans from portraits and experimental multi media projects to fine art and exhibitions.
Finding the beauty in mundane things and placing importance on what is ephemeral.

This project is a continuation of a project I did last year, I was itching for my work to be in a more physical realm and wanted to play with printing on silk. Installation and sculpture always fascinate me as a florist so it’s fun to do the same with my photography. The silk panels consist of film photographs I took of flowers, these were then printed on silk, sewn, hung and photographed again.
These images are the files I sent my printer to make silk zines.
These images were from a group exhibition with local artists, Risa Friedman and Cam Margera for the Month of Photography in March of 2025. We showcased our work at Alto Gallery in Denver, CO.
My work for the show focused on the unexpected spaces that exist between the natural and the man-made world.

Artist Statement -
Savanna Klear (she/they) is an interdisciplinary artist currently residing and creating in Denver, CO. As an analog photographer & botanical artist, their work focuses on the unexpected spaces that exist between the natural and the man-made world. Using organic materials to create still life compositions and site-specific sculptures/installations, Savanna places importance on ordinary things to showcase the profound beauty in the mundane. Capturing and documenting everything with various forms of analog photography, Savanna’s work invites viewers to pause, appreciate the simple pleasures, and find a shared sense of vulnerability and introspection. Combining their love for floral design and the visual arts, Savanna aims to create a space that feels connected to the natural world around us.
